Rola-Chem Flow Meter - 2" Vertical Side Mount - 151-530 lpm

Rola-Chem 2" side mount vertical flow meter.

This float style flow meter will provide an accurate water flow rate through 2" / 50mm pressure pipe to enable correct sizing of pumps to suction fittings based on rated flow.

Can be left in the plumbing permanently, or easily used as a service tool on each required job. (simply cut the pipe and glue a coupling in place where the flow switch was installed.)
Simple installation - drill a 20mm hole in the side of the vertical 2" pipe and clamp the meter with the supplied hose clamps.
The meter must be mounted vertically on vertical pipework.

For accurate results the meter must be installed with 510mm of straight pipe upstream and 255mm of straight pipe downstream. This is not easy to achieve in a portable spa, but necessary for accuracy all the same.
The design of the meter 'pick up' is such that there is little affect on flow/pressure loss whilst installed. (some flow meters heavily interfere with flow/pressure and offer very inaccurate results if they are removed form the plumbing after testing)

The flow meter registers/displays flow rate in US GPM and LPM with the following range covered:
GPM: 40-140
LPM: 151-530
Suits 2" / 50mm pressure pipe only. (alternate units available for 1.5" also available)
